Dedication	For his interest in and his devotion to the students of Baylor University, the Round-Up staff proudly dedicates the 1958 yearbook to Dr. W.J. Thomas. Former head of the journalism and public relations departments at Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, he came to Baylor in 1949 as Chairman of the Department of Journalism. This year marks his tenth year in that position. Father of three girls, he particularly enjoys such avocations as golf and photography. During the past academic year, the "Doc" had two articles published in "Editor and Publisher" national magazine for journalists. He also served as director of the Southwest Journalism Congress held at Baylor this year. Truly the year 1958 has been a memorable year for Dr. W.J. Thomas. We think him deserving of this dedication.
