Last week I see vod’vil show,
At music hall you know,
But there no more I go
Big bleach blonde she come a out
coon-a song she shout,
Don’t like it much, oh no, no,
That day I get big surprise
See with my own eyes great big advertise
It say Tetrazin will sing-a Ciribiribin
At Hammerstein’s op’ra house tonight
To hear Tetrazin I go
And I spend all-a of my dough
Next day in the news I look,
But ev’ry thing says Cook,
How great north pole he took
Then I getta very mad not a word it said
‘Bout Tetrazin oh “sea bootch”
At night I sing in my dream
Ciribiribin can’t forget it seem;
I go nearly daff’ and so
I buy a phonograph
And now I have it play one tune all day
I save up a lot of dough
‘Cause no more to op’ra I go
Chorus
When I hear Madam Tetrazin
She sings that “Ciribiribin”
Oh boys she setta me wild
I cry like the child,
She look-a just a like a queen;
Then I throw one a big a kiss
When she sings just-a like this:
Oh! Ciribiribin che belnasin
chebeidentin che, bel bocchin
Some guy cracked me on the lid,
Cause I yelled out “oh! you kid”
Just when my Madam Tetrazin sings a “Ciribiribin”
When I hear Madam Tetrazin
She sings that “Ciribiribin”
Oh boys she setta me wild
I cry like the child,
When she-a sing in that machine;
Then I could give-a her a kiss
When she sings just-a like this:
Oh! Ciribiribin chebelnasin
chebeidentin che, bel bocchin
May be you think its a joke,
But the phonograph, it broke
Just when my Madam Tetrazin sings a “Ciribiribin.”
