As TCI goes to press, Oswald's body is exhumed!
NEXT MONTH: COMPLETE D/FW COVERAGE OF THE EXHUMATION
As you doubtless know by now from TV and wire service reports, Marina finally succeeded in opening the Rose
Hill grave of LHO, but the local coverage was so voluminous that we could not include it adequately in this issue
of TCI, which was already in the works. Therefore our next issue will be devoted almost wholly to news stories of
the exhumation for our far-flung readers who don't have access to the local coverage.
We also hope to include reaction to the exhumation findings from local researchers, and we also would like
opinions from TCi readers about what effect, if any, the exhumation will have on JFK research. Did the exhumation
raise more questions than it answered? Did it settle the question of imposture? How does it fit in with
Nosenko and other indications of Russian substitution? Does a certifiable chain of evidence support the "LHO
Marine dental X-rays," or could they be X-rays of "the imposter"? Since Oswald had a mastoidectomy scar, is it
possible that the Russians, in creating a meticulous "legend" for an imposter, created a matching scar during
the 12 days in March 1961 when "Harvey Oswald Alik" was in the Ear, Nose and Throat Division of the Minsk
Hospital? Is the role of Michael Eddowes, who has admitted ties to British intelligence, part of some complex intelligence
scenario, perhaps relating to Nosenko? Did Eddowes gather all his information from public sources,
or did much of it come, as he once said in a local radio interview, "from men of great intelligence"? And what
about the rumors circulated by Marina's spokesmen that they had"documentation that the grave was empty and
important persons would be implicated in the body's removal"? Did the exhumation prove the grave had not
aeen tampered with, since the concrete vault had been cracked?
' ^ ^ There was a body in the grave, and it most probably was the corpse of the man killed by Jack Ruby, the man
^ 'Who returned from Russia with his wife Marina. But was it really Lee Harvey Oswald? Please stay tuned for the
next episode.
