Summary	The Texas Courthouse Preservation Program was instituted by the Texas Legislature in 1999 after the National Trust for Historic Preservation named these iconic buildings among the country’s 11 most endangered historic places. The interviews in this series were conducted by Julie Freeman, assistant media adviser for student publications and master’s candidate in American Studies at Baylor University, as part of the research for her master’s thesis.
