Summary	The Texas Playboys band, founded in 1933 in Waco, Texas, by James Robert (Bob) Wills, helped popularize western swing music. Wills expanded his traditional fiddle band by attracting artists who played horns, reeds, and percussion instruments and inspired them to be innovative and original. These interviews focus on five creative members of Wills’s original band, all of whom took part in a revival of the band in the 1970s and 1980s.
